Oh the stories they told. Before becoming a mom I didn't understand the real meaning of unconditional love. I didn't fully value the bond a mother has for their child. To be honest motherhood to me meant end of your life. All I heard was how exhausting, frustrating, and all-around difficult it was to be a mom.
LET'S BE REAL:
Moms are always telling stories of how they never sleep, they barely get to groom themselves, and they feel like they are drowning under the constant pressures and obligations that come with raising a child.
One look at the beautiful life I created and the hardships seemed well worth it. "Mom Life Is The Best Life" here are just 5 reasons why, but trust me there's so many more!
The moment when you walk through the door after 10 minutes of separation and your child welcomes you with sticky kisses and long hugs make being a mom feel like the best thing in the world!
2. SHE TEACHES ME TOO
Being a mom taught me to just be cool with who I am and what I have. I was so focused on doing this, doing that, partying here and there, when I realized none of those things were as important as the smile on your kids face. I found myself calmer and happier. Thanks Pey!
3. WHAT'S LONELY?
Being a mom means always having someone to tag along with you as you journey through life. The best days are when me and Peyton go to a new park, amusement park, museum, or zoo.
4. THE APPLE DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE
It's great to have a "mini-me, but it's also great when you know you're helping to create a better version of yourself.
5. MOTHER'S DAY!
Day's like these, where you can be honored for all you do as a mother, make motherhood worth it!
